Director of Development

Central Christian School of Hutchinson, Kansas is accepting applications for a Director of Development. The position is full time, and qualified applicants should have a bachelors or master’s degree and at least three years of educational, advancement, and fundraising experience. Knowledge of nonprofits and the preschool through grade 12 marketplace is desired. Applicants should also be a Christian believer.

The Director Development is responsible for leading the development and execution of the school’s fundraising efforts. In addition, this position will coordinate with other staff to develop marketing and communication materials that promote the values and mission of the school and oversee the major functions related to the school’s capital campaign. The Director of Development will cultivate and establish relationships with staff, governing board members, volunteers, donors, and the general community.

Education administration or church staff administration experience is preferred; marketing, management, or sales experience is desired. Applicants should also be a Christian believer.

The Director of Admissions and Marketing is responsible for generating leads, student retention, admissions, admissions events, alumni relations, community events, along with marketing initiatives, design, and implementation. This position will use printed materials, social media, the school’s website, and other means to communicate the school’s mission and to recruit and retain students.

Candidates should be able to teach middle and high school math including upper level high school math and high school physics. The position is full-time. Qualified applicants should have a B.A./B.S./undergraduate degree in math/science education, science, or secondary education. Those with a masters degree in math would be given preference. Applicants should also be a Christian believer and be committed to teaching students from a Christian worldview.

We are looking for individuals to join our outstanding family of teachers and staff. Experience in a child care center and certification are preferred but not required. We will provide training to meet KDHE licensing requirements. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Central Christian Preschool and Child Care Center is licensed by KDHE to care for children 2 ½ – 12 years of age.

Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children have the opportunity to develop a love for Jesus Christ and others. We are looking for teachers and staff who will encourage healthy spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social growth of the children in our facility.
