Activity Bus Drivers

Central Christian School of Hutchinson, Kansas, is accepting applications for bus drivers for the 2022–2023 school year. The positions are part-time. Qualified applicants should provide safe and efficient transportation for eligible students, enabling them to participate in the school's extracurricular programs to the extent possible. Buses hold up to 78 elementary-age students. Part-time means driving for field trips, mid-day school deliveries/dismissals, and other activities and events. This part-time job is during the school year and follows the school calendar. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Must be between the ages of 25 and 65; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Possess a current commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (transferrable to Kansas) or be capable of obtaining a Kansas CDL with P & S endorsements. CCS will pay for CDL training if necessary
  • Clean driving record
  • Successfully pass U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug/Alcohol Testing and Physical Examination
  • Successfully pass a background investigation by the Kansas Law Enforcement Division

Preschool Employment Opportunities

We are looking for individuals to join our Summer Camp team of teachers and staff. We will provide training to meet KDHE licensing requirements. Training begins in may and applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Job responsibilities include classroom setup, planning activities, and supervising children. Central Christian Preschool and Child Care Center is licensed by KDHE to care for children 1 – 12 years of age.

We focus on STEAM learning and activities in the summer. Summer Camp 2023 begins Wednesday, May 24, and ends Wednesday, August 9. We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with various shifts available. 

Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children have the opportunity to develop a love for Jesus Christ and others. We are looking for teachers and staff who will encourage healthy spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social growth of the children in our facility.
