Director of Development

Central Christian School of Hutchinson, Kansas, is accepting applications for a director of development. Qualified applicants should have a bachelor's degree, but a master's degree is preferred. Applicants should also be a Christian believer and be committed to teaching students from a Christian worldview.

Under the supervision of the superintendent, the director of development is responsible for the development and execution of the school’s fundraising efforts including donor cultivation, annual fund, capital campaigns, major gifts, corporate and foundation grants, individual giving, public funds, special fundraising events, and legacy giving. In addition, the director of development will coordinate with the superintendent, the director of alumni association, and the director of admissions and marketing to develop marketing and communication materials that promote the values and mission of Central Christian School and keep donors and other friends of the school regularly informed of school updates, needs, and successes.

Activity Bus Drivers

Central Christian School of Hutchinson, Kansas, is accepting applications for bus drivers for the 2022–2023 school year. The positions are part-time. Qualified applicants should provide safe and efficient transportation for eligible students, enabling them to participate in the school's extracurricular programs to the extent possible. Buses hold up to 78 elementary-age students. Part-time means driving for field trips, mid-day school deliveries/dismissals, and other activities and events. This part-time job is during the school year and follows the school calendar. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Must be between the ages of 25 and 65; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Possess a current commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (transferrable to Kansas) or be capable of obtaining a Kansas CDL with P & S endorsements. CCS will pay for CDL training if necessary
  • Clean driving record
  • Successfully pass U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug/Alcohol Testing and Physical Examination
  • Successfully pass a background investigation by the Kansas Law Enforcement Division

Fall Preschool Staff

We are looking for individuals to join our team of teachers and staff. Experience in a child care center and certification are preferred but not required. We will provide training to meet KDHE licensing requirements. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Central Christian Preschool and Child Care Center is licensed by KDHE to care for children 1 – 12 years of age.
 
Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children have the opportunity to develop a love for Jesus Christ and others. We are looking for teachers and staff who will encourage healthy spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social growth of the children in our facility.
 
This position is part time. Hours include 2:30 p.m. to close. We are looking for individuals to be in a classroom setting as well as work the front desk.

Middle School Boys Assistant Basketball Coach

Job duties include:

  • Assisting the head coach in day-to-day practices and helping coach the A, B, and C (if there are enough boys) teams throughout the 2023–2024 season 
  • Completing required training in CPR and basic first aid for athletes
