Dear Friend of CCS, 

 

Thank you for your interest in Central Christian School. Since 1948 CCS has stood firm in its mission to provide a Christ-centered education for students and families throughout Reno County and the surrounding communities. Scripture is filled with affirmations of the Lord's design for families to raise their children in the admonition of the Lord. This can be accomplished through the home, the church, and the school all working together to continually preach, teach, and proclaim Christ so that when children grow, they will not depart from the Word of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6). 

 

Proverbs 23:23 states, "Buy truth, and do not sell it; get wisdom and discipline and understanding." This is our design, devotion, and desire at CCS – to offer a Christ-centered education that is founded and rooted in the truths of God's Word so that we can gain wisdom, discipline, and understanding. 

 

As the primary educators for their children, parents seek what is best for their child in this training process. At Central Christian School, students have access to rigorous academics, competitive sports, and a family atmosphere which features parents, students, teachers, and staff who are all on mission toward the same goal. Certainly, we "have no greater joy than this, to hear that my children are walking in the truth" (3 John 1:4). In a society with moral decline, disintegration of the home, and cultural pressures, Central Christian School will remain committed to a truth-based education that is rooted and grounded in God's Word. 

 

CCS is dedicated to its vision of partnering with Christian families and local churches to educate students and help them gain a firm assurance of their salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ and to instill in students a desire to love and serve the Lord as mature Christians.
