Enrollment Priority & Placement Process

The Jay & Connie Schrock Family Early Education School we value clear communication and thoughtful planning as we welcome new families into our community. Because enrollment is limited by classroom size and staffing, applications are reviewed using the priority order below. Our goal is always to steward our resources well while serving families with care and integrity.

Placement is considered in the following order:

  1. Children of EES/CCS employees

  2. Siblings of currently enrolled children*

  3. Waitlist applicants, based on additional factors listed below

*Sibling priority applies when space is available in the appropriate age group.

Additional Placement Considerations

When reviewing applications and waitlist placement, we also consider:

  • Date the application was submitted

  • Age of the child

  • Space availability in the requested classroom

  • Availability of space in the next age group when a child transitions out of the infant and toddler room

We make every effort to honor a first-come, first-served approach whenever possible. However, due to enrollment balance and budget considerations, an open spot may occasionally be filled by a child from anywhere on the waitlist to ensure the long-term sustainability of our program.
