About Us

Central Christian’s Early Education School/Summer Day Camp exists to provide an excellent, safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children have the opportunity to develop a love for Jesus Christ and others. It is a place to grow and develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. It is our goal that parents will send their children to Central Christian with confidence that their child will be taught and cared for with Christ-like love by dedicated, professional staff.

We enroll children ages 6 weeks–6 years throughout the school year. Children ages 6 weeks–12 years are eligible for summer day camp enrollment.

The Jay & Connie Schrock Family Early Education School is operated on a non-discriminatory basis, according equal treatment to all applicants without regard to race, color, or national or ethnic origin.

Preschool

Curriculum:

We believe play-based and hands-on learning is essential to a child's development. Every class uses a themed curriculum with developmentally appropriate learning activities based on the Kansas Early Learning Standards. Abeka is used in all of our classes for teaching Bible.

Children will be guided to:

  • Talk to God every day

  • Work, play, and share with others

  • Continue to develop verbal, reading, and math skills

  • Strengthen large and fine motor skills

  • Become aware of and develop an interest in the world around them

  • Develop a sense of pride in accomplishments

  • Practice responsibility

We offer:

  • Experienced teachers and staff who love God and love kids

  • Teachers who have 16 hours of continuing education classes every year in health, safety, behavior management, child development, implementing engaging learning activities, and much more

  • Teachers and staff certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid

  • Hands-on and play-based learning

  • Small class size - no more than a 12:1 child/teacher ratio
