Chess has many cognitive benefits, including the ability to improve your:
- Intelligence
- Empathy
- Memory
- Planning and problem-solving skills
- Creative abilities
Through chess, students learn how to analyze a situation by focusing on important factors and by eliminating distractions. Students also learn to devise creative solutions and put a plan into action.
The chess club setting is a great way for your student to make new friends, and also interact with teachers in a positive way.
