2025 State Champs

For the second time in school history, Central Christian’s boys golf team claimed the KSHSAA Class 1A State Golf Championship. The Cougars shot a two-day total of 633 at Mariah Hills Golf Course in Dodge City, outperforming two-time defending champions South Gray by 17 strokes (South Gray totaled 650).

Ry Kooiman finished with a tie for 3rd individually with a two-round 148 to lead the team. His brother, Cael Kooiman, placed 7th at 150, and Nathan Reed tied for 8th at 159. The victory marks a triumphant return to the top after Central Christian's state win in 2022.
