Central Christian School proudly celebrates the accomplishments of its student-athletes who earned medals at the KSHSAA Class 1A State Track & Field Meet held at Wichita State University. Jessa Losew captured the state championship in the high jump, clearing an impressive 5'8" to earn the gold medal. Her teammate, Belle Barnett, also excelled in the event, earning the silver medal with a jump of 5'6". Barnett continued her standout performance by placing 7th in the 100-meter dash, finishing with a strong time of 12.89 seconds. Harper Newcome placed 4th in the 800 run with a time of 2:23.01.

On the boys side, Jayden Linscheid soared to victory in the high jump, taking home the gold medal with a leap of 6'4". Keaton Miller also stood out in the field events, earning 5th place in the shot put with a throw of 49' 4¾". Cal Barnett placed 7th in triple jump with a distance of 41' 9 3/4".

 These outstanding results reflect the hard work, determination, and athletic excellence of Central Christian’s track and field program. The school community celebrates these student-athletes for their dedication and success on the state stage.
