Central Christian School is excited to announce its Annual Stewardship Dinner Fundraiser. It will feature keynote speaker Dan Meers, best known as the man behind the legendary KC Wolf, mascot of the Kansas City Chiefs.
For 35 years, Dan Meers donned the iconic KC Wolf suit, thrilling fans, energizing communities, and embodying heart, humor, and hard work. A native of St. Charles, Missouri, Meers first gained national recognition as Truman the Tiger at the University of Missouri, where he won the 1989 National Collegiate Mascot Championship. He also spent time as Fredbird with the St. Louis Cardinals before becoming the Chiefs’ first full-time KC Wolf in 1990.
Behind the laughs and acrobatics is a man of deep faith, passion, and purpose. Meers lives by the motto: “faith, family, and making a positive difference.” Today, he serves as a sought-after speaker at schools, churches, corporations, and community groups, delivering messages of character, hope, and resilience. As Meers shared in a 2023 interview: “God didn’t put us on this earth to make a living . . . He put us here to make an impact.”
Dan’s story isn’t just entertaining—it’s transformational. His unique blend of humor, humility, and heartfelt lessons will bring attendees together in a powerful message of stewardship and service.
