Wednesday, March 11, will be a regular school day, but families are allowed to take students out early if needed.
🏀This is only the second time in school history that both boys and girls basketball teams have made it to the state tournament, and we want everyone to be able to cheer them on.
Mr. Urwiller sent an email around 8:00 p.m. to all CCS families. Please read it for additional information.
Stop by Scooter’s, mention Central Christian School, or show them the image below, and a portion of your purchase will support our teachers and school.

At our final home basketball game last week, we had the joy of honoring senior athletes and scholars of Central Christian School. 🏀📚
To our senior basketball players, thank you for the heart you have shown on the court and the leadership you have shown throughout the season. You have represented CCS with perseverance and faithfulness. The scoreboard never fully tells the story of the early mornings, the extra drills, the encouragement in the huddles, and the character you displayed in every win and every tough loss. We are proud of the way you competed and honored the Lord through your commitment.
To our senior scholars bowl participants, what an incredible season! Your advancing to State was a tremendous accomplishment, and you carried yourselves with confidence and determination. Finishing pool play with a 3–2 record placed CCS in a five-way tie. In a heartbreaking margin-of-victory tiebreaker, you placed fourth in that tie, missing the championship round by just one spot. While the outcome was difficult, your performance was outstanding. You proved that academic achievement and competitive spirit go hand in hand.
Seniors, you have modeled what it looks like to pursue excellence while keeping Christ at the center. You have set a powerful example for younger students who are watching and learning from you.

Our high school boys basketball team stepped onto the court for the sub-state quarterfinal matchup against Chetopa last night with focus and determination. By the end of the game, the scoreboard showed a 71-16 victory for the Cougars. But the road to the championship is never just about the scoreboard.
Last night's win represents more than one strong night on the court. It reflects months of commitment, coaches investing in their players, and teammates choosing to trust one another in big and little moments.
This group continues to grow. Not just as athletes, but as young men who compete with character and heart. And they aren't just playing for a title. They’re playing for each other.
Now the journey continues. Our boys advance to the semifinal game at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, against Marmaton Valley.
