Our high school athletes are bringing the energy this season, and both boys golf and track are putting together strong performances!
Boys Golf:
Cael Kooiman and Tyler Reed have medaled in six tournaments so far, with Cael earning 1st place at the Inman Invitational at Crazy Horse. As a team, they’ve also secured 3rd place finishes at both the Central Christian Invitational and the Inman Invitational. Coach Shane Hines shared how grateful he is for the dedication of the entire team, which also includes Karson Sullivan, Adam Eigsti, Bo Hobbs, and Bruce Wilson, and how rewarding it’s been to watch them grow in skill while representing CCS so well.
Track and Field:
Head Coach Camille Barnett stated, "What stands out most this season isn’t just the results, but the growth." The track and field athletes are consistently pushing for personal bests, and it’s paying off. "Many are continuing to develop and show real promise, while building a team culture centered on effort, resilience, and supporting one another."

Our elementary school's music concert was a beautiful evening centered on the theme Lead On, Good Shepherd. Students used their musical talents to share a message of trust and guidance through every season of life.
The fifth grade students led the evening with a strong band performance paired with a comical skit before they joined the other grades in song. Each vocal music selection pointed us back to the steady care and faithfulness of the Lord.
We are so thankful for our dedicated music instructors Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs. Huck, who faithfully guided them in musical skills and worship.

As you drop off your child(ren) for school on Monday, May 11, please look for CCS faculty, administration, and staff outside to greet you. We’ll be handing out donuts as a thank you for allowing us the privilege of shepherding the hearts and minds of your children. It is a small token of our gratitude for your partnership with Central Christian School.

Our elementary school's track and field day is just around the corner, and we’re excited for a day full of fun! Students will have the chance to run, jump, and cheer for one another as they enjoy time together outside their classrooms.
We love seeing our students grow not only in strength, but in character as they learn to support one another and give their best in every thing they do for God's glory. Be sure to check the calendar for event times.
We would also love your help in making the day run smoothly! A parent volunteer sign-up is below. Thank you for partnering with us to make this a special day for our students.

The afternoon was filled with reflection, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the impact this class has had on our school community. We are grateful for who God created each of them to be.
As they step forward to what comes next, we pray they continue to seek the Lord and trust Him to guide them and use their lives for His purpose.
Congratulations, graduates! 💚🐾🎓

Through provided ingredients, instructional videos, and guided practice, students developed baking skills while working together to make bread from scratch.
Once their baking was completed, they carefully packaged their items and prepared them to be shared with Hutchinson's Christian Soup Ministry. It was a meaningful way for our students to use what they learned in a practical way to serve others in our community.
We are grateful for opportunities like this!

They were immersed in the art of Des Lucréce, revealing how culture, history, and displacement shape the self, and Dean Mitchell, who captures quiet dignity of individuals in poverty. Students really enjoyed moving with the art as it went across the floors and walls.
They visited the Selections from the Art Blocks 500 exhibit, art that was generated by algorithms and creative code, and they created their own art using textured sheets, spinning markers, and a motorized spirograph.
They loved interacting with the Daniel Rozin exhibit. After the museum, a stop at Raising Cane's was a highlight for many!
We extend a big thanks to Mr. Eigsti for driving and to the CCS Booster Club for making this experience possible. What a joy to see our students engaged, inspired, and learning in such a unique way!

We are grateful for this special milestone and would love to have you there as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating class. Today marks not only the completion of high school, but also the beginning of the unique journey God has planned for each of these students.
We look forward to gathering together to honor their hard work and the faithful guidance of the Lord in their lives. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Earlier this morning, they were blessed by our school's staff members, a special tradition that has become a cherished part of this season. It was a time of prayer and encouragement as words of life were spoken over each individual student.
As we look ahead to graduation, we celebrate all that God has done in and through this class. We are praying for each of our seniors as they prepare to go out into the world with faith and confidence in the Lord’s leading.

Our secondary spring music concert was a joyful celebration of the gifts God has given our students!
Central Christian's bands filled the gym with both powerful and lighthearted music, each performance reflecting not only their growth, but also their commitment to using their talents for a greater purpose.
The choirs brought a meaningful reminder that every voice matters. Through their songs, we were encouraged by the truth that even what may seem small can be used by God in big ways.
We are so thankful for the dedication of our students and the guidance of our directors and accompanist, who faithfully pour into them. To Him be the glory for a wonderful night of music and praise!
If your child has a summer birthday, you can still have their special day recognized on our school's electronic message board. It’s a simple way to help them feel celebrated as part of our school family. If you’d like your student’s name included, please contact the school office.
We look forward to celebrating with you all summer long!

We would love for you to come!

Students from every grade jumped in, bringing spare change, strategizing, and cheering on their classes as the totals shifted each day. From pennies adding up to big points to a little friendly competition with silver coins, it was a fun and memorable week for our school community.
Congratulations to our kindergarten class, who took home the win with more than 10,000 points. Through the generosity of our families and students, a total of $1,270 was raised! Thank you to our PTF for organizing such a creative event.

Come share in this joyful occasion as we recognize our students’ hard work, growth, and the plans God has for their futures. Your presence will make commencement even more meaningful.
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

Make dinner easy, and support CCS at the same time by stopping by Chick-fil-A anytime from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Just mention “CCS Spirit Night” when you order, and 10% of your purchase will go back to our school.

As the only Class 1A school performing at that festival, they represented CCS with excellence and purpose. We are excited to share that they received I ratings from all three judges.

Our high school choir will travel to Branson, Missouri, this week where they will open for the The Haygoods show on Thursday, April 23. The choir recently shared a dress rehearsal performance with our school.
As they prepare to go, we invite you to pray for safe travels as they use vocal music to share the hope of the Gospel.
We are excited to see how God will use them in this opportunity.
