🏀💚 The Lady Cougars High School Basketball Team wrapped up a great week at team camp!
The girls worked extremely hard, pushed themselves to improve, and continued to grow as a team. Summer is where the foundation for the season is built, and this group took important steps forward both individually and collectively.

Congratulations to Central Christian seniors Piercen Huff and Konnor Sullivan on being selected to participate in the 2026 Kansas Eight-Man Division II Football All-Star Game.
We are also proud to see Coach Matt Barnett recognized as the Division II West head coach for this event.
This honor reflects the hard work, dedication, and leadership that Piercen and Konnor have demonstrated throughout their football careers, as well as Coach Barnett's commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Join us in congratulating these Cougars as they represent Central Christian and compete alongside some of the top eight-man football talent from across Kansas.
The Division II game is scheduled to kickoff on Saturday, June 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Trojan Field in Beloit.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and for the freedom we enjoy because of their courage. We also turn our hearts to the Lord in prayer, asking Him to bring comfort to grieving families and peace to our nation.
Jesus reminds us in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” We give thanks for this example of sacrificial love and pray we never take it for granted.

Our elementary and secondary students were recognized at awards ceremonies for their hard work, growth, and dedication throughout the school year. It was a joy to honor not only academic and athletic achievements, but also character, effort, and the many ways our students have grown.
We are thankful for our faculty and staff who have poured into these students all year long, and for families who supported and encouraged their students every step of the way. Most of all, we give thanks to the Lord for the growth we have seen in each student.
As Scripture reminds us in 1 Corinthians 3:6,9, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow . . . You are God’s field, God’s building.” We are humbled to be part of what God is doing in the lives of our students.
